The Standard, Miniature, and Toy Poodle breeds are a non-shedding, most hypoallergenic breed of the coated breeds.  They are elegant, energetic athletes who move with a light, springy gait. They excel in obedience, agility, retrieving and jumping skills. They are a thinking dog who pays attention to its owner, learns quickly, and responds eagerly to positive training methods. They do require some sort of mental stimulation in order to be happy! They are good watchdogs.  They require professional grooming every 4-6 weeks.
